What is in the PDF

A numbers-station one-time pad, a microfilm negative, a dead-drop map you measure with a ruler, embassy guest lists, badge logs, time zones and semaphore flags. One puzzle needs two players working from different pages.

How to play

  1. Print the PDF single-sided and read the two-page host guide.
  2. Cut out the marked pieces and sort the puzzle pages into the envelopes the guide lists.
  3. Start the timer. Players solve each puzzle to get the code that opens the next envelope.
  4. Stuck? The hint table gives a gentle hint, a big hint and the answer for every puzzle.

Good for

Adults and older teens who like codes, Cold War stories and teamwork.
