All of our stories are fiction. The characters, places and events are made up, and no real people or crimes are referenced.
Every online case follows the same seven investigation stages:
You get one chance to name the killer. Each case is written so that the answer can be reached by reasoning alone: the contradiction is always somewhere in the evidence you have been given. If you have to guess, we treat that as a mistake in the case, not in the player.
The site and the online cases are available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Japanese and Korean.
We also make games for iPhone and Android. You can find all of them on our games page.
ColdCaseOnline.com lets you play a cold case file live with your friends, in real time, with 2 to 8 players.
