2. Description of Service

Murder Mystery Detective is an online interactive detective game platform. All cases, characters, and events are entirely fictional. The Service offers both free and paid subscription tiers.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly ($6.40/month) or yearly ($42/year). All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

4. User Accounts

You may sign in with Google or continue as a guest. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Guest accounts store progress locally on your device only.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this platform, including case files, stories, images, and code, is the property of ForgottenMystery.com and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

1. Information We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture. Guest users are not tracked. We also collect game progress data (completed cases, scores) to provide the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to: provide and maintain the Service, manage your subscription, display your progress on leaderboards, and communicate important updates about the Service.

3. Payment Information

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers. Guest account data is stored locally on your device using localStorage and is not transmitted to our servers.

5. Cookies

1. Subscription Refunds

We offer a 7일 환불 보장 on all new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with our Service, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase.

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, send an email to support@forgottenmystery.com with your account email and reason for the refund. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. After cancellation, you will retain access to premium content until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are given for unused time after the 7-day guarantee period.

4. Exceptions

Refunds may be denied if there is evidence of abuse, such as completing all premium cases and then requesting a refund, or creating multiple accounts to exploit the refund policy.
